24/7 emergency response

Asbestos Abatement

Professional containment and abatement with a clear focus on safety and compliance.

What this involves

Asbestos Abatement done right, the first time.

Asbestos is harmless until it is disturbed. Pipe wrap, floor tile, mastic, joint compound, and old siding can all release fibers during demolition or after damage. PRG sets up regulated enclosures, removes the material under negative air, and manages disposal so the property can move forward safely.

When to call

Signs you need help now.

  • Damaged pipe or boiler insulation in an older basement
  • Cracked 9x9 floor tiles or crumbling ceiling texture
  • A renovation or demolition permit that requires an asbestos survey
  • Fire or water damage that disturbed suspect materials

How we work

Our asbestos abatement process.

  1. 01

    Survey and notification

We work from a survey report and file the required notifications before work begins.

  2. 02

    Enclosure and removal

Work areas are sealed under negative pressure and material is removed wet to control fibers.

  3. 03

    Disposal and clearance

Waste is bagged, labeled, and manifested to a licensed facility; air clearance is arranged as required.

Common questions

Asbestos Abatement questions, answered.

How do I know if it is asbestos?

You cannot tell by looking. A survey with lab sampling is the only way to confirm. We can coordinate one.

Can I remove it myself?

Homeowner removal is restricted and unsafe. Improper removal contaminates the whole house.

How long does the work take?

A single basement pipe run may be a day; whole-building projects are scheduled in phases. We give a firm timeline after the survey.
