Air movers and a dehumidifier drying a residential basement

24/7 emergency response

Structural Dry Out & Dehumidification

Commercial-grade air movement and dehumidification to remove hidden moisture and protect the structure.

What this involves

Dry Out done right, the first time.

Water you can see is only part of the problem. Moisture wicks into subfloors, framing, drywall, and insulation, and if it stays there, mold and structural damage follow. PRG sets up commercial air movers and low-grain dehumidifiers sized to the space, then measures moisture daily until the structure is verifiably dry.

When to call

Signs you need help now.

  • Floors feel soft, cupped, or spongy after a leak or flood
  • Drywall is stained, bubbling, or cool to the touch
  • A musty smell that lingers after cleanup
  • Condensation on windows or pipes in a finished basement

How we work

Our dry out process.

  1. 01

    Moisture mapping

We use meters and thermal imaging to find where water traveled, not just where it pooled.

  2. 02

    Equipment placement

Air movers and dehumidifiers are positioned and sized for the room's volume and materials.

  3. 03

    Daily monitoring

Readings are logged each day so you and your insurer can see progress and know exactly when drying is complete.

Common questions

Dry Out questions, answered.

How long does structural drying take?

Most residential dry-outs take 3 to 5 days. Dense materials like hardwood and plaster can take longer. We monitor daily and remove equipment as soon as targets are met.

Can I just use fans?

Household fans move air but do not remove moisture. Without dehumidification, humidity stays high and materials keep absorbing water.

Will my insurance cover this?

Sudden water events are usually covered. We document conditions and readings so your claim has what it needs.
