Odor Removal & Deodorization

Targeted deodorization that addresses the source of persistent smoke, mold, and water-loss odors.

What this involves

Odor Restoration done right, the first time.

Air fresheners mask; they do not remove. Persistent odor means the source is still there, whether that is smoke residue in the attic, a dried sewage backup in the subfloor, or mold behind a wall. PRG finds the source, removes or seals it, and treats the space with professional deodorization equipment.

When to call

Signs you need help now.

  • Smoke smell months after a small kitchen fire
  • Sewage or musty odor after a basement backup was 'cleaned up'
  • Pet or tobacco odor in a property you just bought or are trying to sell
  • A smell that gets worse in humid weather

How we work

Our odor restoration process.

  1. 01

    Source identification

We trace the odor to its origin rather than treating the whole house blindly.

  2. 02

    Source removal

Contaminated materials are cleaned, sealed, or removed depending on what is practical.

  3. 03

    Deodorization

Thermal fogging, hydroxyl, or ozone treatment neutralizes what remains in air and porous surfaces.

Common questions

Odor Restoration questions, answered.

Is ozone safe?

Ozone treatment is done in an unoccupied space and the area is aired out before anyone returns. Hydroxyl generators are an alternative for occupied buildings.

Will the smell come back?

Not if the source is handled. That is why we start there instead of with the fogger.

Can you deodorize a whole building?

Yes, including multifamily properties and commercial spaces. We schedule around occupants.
